Recipe for My-Mom's-Style Steak - by Chef Karbone Da Bone

I recently managed to pull off this delicious steak sauce that my mom used to
make us when we were kids. I wanna share it with you coz it makes such a YUMMY
dinner and it is sooo easy. The greatest thing about this recipe is it works with these
cheap ass steaks man - the thin ones they use for fajitas. The ones u get @ two for 2 bux.
at Albertson's or Ralph's.

for one steak:

- fill a sauce pan half way with water and heat.
- add one spoon-full of flour
- squeeze half a lemon
- and add one spoon-full of butter

Heat and mix consistently until it becomes uniform.

Meanwhile u r frying a juicy salted/peppered steak in olive and corn oil (i use
half half so as the olive oil doesnt burn). I also dice a couple of garlics and
add them to the frying oil.

In a third pan I fry some cut tomatoes and onions in a little olive oil and
cover them so they soften (this is my own addition to the recipe. Mom used
to make the sauce without the tomatoes and onions).

When the steak is ready, add the steak sauce to it and mix the juicy oil with
the sauce. Add the tomatoes and onions. simmer for 5 minutes. serve.

and enjoy.........

The whole meal takes about 15 mins.

I eat my steak with good authetic italian iL Fornaio bread and dip pieces of it
in the sauce. delicious !!!

All the best, bon apetit and enjoy La Dolce Vita !
