Recipe for Hommos Done My Papa's Way w/ Sauteed Ground Beef and Onions - from Chef Karbone Da Bone

Here is a delicious recipe for making Hommos the way my dad taught me how to do it - back in the day when mom would go on vacation in Bulgaria, leaving us behind in Lebanon to forage for ourselves...

Get a can of hommos tahini from your local middle-eastern groceries store or ethnic food market, and add lemon, and crushed garlic to your heart's satisfaction baby. Mix the heavenly paste and sprinkle some salt too if you want.

Now here's the simple, but genious twist to making this delicious Lebanese appetiser:

Sautee some ground beef and chopped onions in a frying pan with virgin olive oil, and sprinkle some salk and black pepper.

Towards the end, squeeze some fresh lime when the beef is ready.

Now here it comes:

Spread the hommus on your favorite plate, and sprinkle on top the sauteed ground beef/onions and eat, baby eat, and enjoy this delicious dish from the Karbone and his Dad ! It's THAT simple!

The secret to this dish is that the lemon/garlic/hommus/beef/onion combination is just perfectly balanced in taste and texture...

I like to eat it with my hands and Arabic bread (Pita) ofcourse with fresh tomatoes and lettuce on the side. If you dont want to eat too much bread baby, just eat the heavely stuff with the fresh lettuce it is delicious and Lite !!!

All the best, bon apetit and enjoy La Dolce Vita !
