Monday night, November 4, 2002, I was alone and angry because of this girl that I was seeing that hadn't returned my calls that weekend. I go to the cool Blues joint in the valley, Cozy's to get it out of my system. A cool band is playing. Then this Chinese guy gets on stage wearing a necktie. I am worried... But he addresses the audience to allay our fears: "I know what you guys are thinking. What is a Chinese guy doing playing the Blues?". The guy ripped... In the middle of a song, he jumps off stage, picks up a chair and uses its leg to play slide guitar. Later on, he played solo with his tongue !!!! His name is Rickly. Rickly gave a new meaning to the term "blues lick".
