The First Online Arabic Rumi Page

In 2005, on February 14, Valentine's Day, I was translating Rumi poems from English into Arabic at the Jafet Library in the American University of Beirut when around 11 am the whole library shook from the sound of an explosion...

It was from the 1 ton bomb that killed Prime Minister Hariri and 22 others...

I had recently come back to the Middle East from the USA trying to start a new life after being laid off from the IT sector in the USA... what a beginning huh?

To make a long story short, I bring you these beautiful Rumi poems in Arabic that have touched me deeply and I hope they wil affect you positively too... A work of Love to defy the evil in this world and especially in the Middle East...
