Hi Rami,

I happen to look through your photos, in the Goddess's gallery. I found the Gorgeous Yasmeen Ghauri's pics. It is a lovely tribute... however.. I would really appreciate it if you could please remove the one that reveals her nipple. She is Muslim as I am, and Yasmeen does not really model anymore. But as a Pakistani gal, I really wish there are more 'decent' artisitic photos. I do love the rest! THey are Marvelous!! and so is Yasmeen! :)

Sincerely,

Bebe

I gotta hand it to you, Rami...I just finished browsing through your krasiva.com site. Even in its developing stages, your work is very worthy of being posted on the net for everyone to see and appreciate. You have a great eye when it comes to your photography , and your statements are sincere. I am happy and pleased to know that there is at least one man in the world (more like one man in LA ) who is genuine enough to hold such utmost appreciation and admiration for beautiful women of all nationalities.

Keep up the great work, and stick to your passion no matter what anyone else says.

Take care,

In your quest for establishing this shrine, did you consider the beauty of
African or African
American women. What a slap in the face that women in my ethnicity are not
regarded as beautiful. But I guess that is typical wherever you go........

from an email exchange with Rachel, CA - April 2001

Rachel - wrote:
Okay a very dear friend told me to look at your site, she 'raved' about
it. So I took a look, and frankly your mission statement and site well,
they clash. I know beauty, I am a 20 year old mother of two girls, and I
stay home with them. I know that people may not SEE me as beautiful, but
I am. Being a supermodel is not beautiful, that is trash you can find in
PLAYBOY. However you had a couple of people who are beautiful, for what
they have contributed to for our safety and lives. That is beautiful.
Since I know for a fact that you are a man it is safe to say that your
idea of beautiful goes only a inche deeper than the skin on these ladys.
Should you wake up and realize that a hungry mother or tired lady trying
hard to feed the hungry, or saved the world is more beautiful than any
of these ladys whom you have posted. MY best example is the glorious
Mother Theresa. Or maybe even Princess Diana. But Victoria Scott,
Violetta, Aminah Hag, Lamina El-Hachem, Maria Cucinotta, come on I can
go forever. Why are these ladys so beautiful, why do they deserve a
Shrine of Tribute? What is so darn important that they deserve a shrine.
What about the real woman of this world that have to kill, steal, and
starve to feed their familys, to help support their countrys, to do what
ever their hearts are determined to do to help this world. Anyone can be
a model, but the beautiful woman of this world are the woman you don't
see walking down the street, because they are not beautiful enough to
make men want them. I am beautiful, because I am not a supermodel, yet I
am the one who is taking care of my children and not the nanny who is
watching these supermodels children who you post on the interenet.
P.S. If you want beauty you have to really look hard, because beauty
goes beyond the skin to the heart.

rache's answer back:

I hope your trip was good. Anyhow, I understand the limitation in pictures on the internet and in books of "ordinary" females. But your site is a 'tribute' or a 'shrine' to the beauty of woman. So having said that it takes your heart to lead you. For you to do your own work and find what you think is beautiful. I can see in my head what you are looking for in site, or rather what I think you may be looking for. I can see it almost like it was here in front of me. An what my suggestion is to you is to walk out in the sun and look with your own eyes and look for those woman you make you smile. I hope you understand.

Good Luck with you site and please keep in touch with me to let me know how it goes.

HI rami!

my name is marcus.
The idea of your webside is very good.
Maybe you should devide beauty into [its] aspects, for example: beauty of mind, beauty of body, beauty of HEART, beauty of gestures/mimic; voice. and so on.

Maybe you can analyse the illusion of beauty - this subjective impression for the human being.

Beauty is mostly these [things], which are unreachable, pop stars and so on. we like them, because we don't need to have a deeper realitionship with them. it's all hopeful dreaming.

But if these people confroted the real (ugly) people. They can't manage it. so they go back in there dreams.

The internet supports this cycle of unluck (dream woman, personaly ideal behaviour, the hole porno stuff)
It would a great mission of you to tell people the true about themself.

good luck.
marcus

If you need any support, which I can deliver - tell me!

A Critique of krasiva.com that I had the pleasure of hearing...

"well, even tho this one is prettier, i liked the other picture better
the other one is so comfortable in her surrounding
she's glowing
very natural beauty
this one looks made up too much
maybe if you'd put that it would look prettier
you see the site strikes me as one which is not strictly after beauty seen in consensus
but beauty which is controversial
that is why i liked the first one better
this one looks like a model
it's not realistic
the other looked realistic
rami show everyday pictures of women
your average everyday woman in her surroundings
marcela wasnt posing for the cam
this one is
you portray beauty as raw
that's the beauty of it all
their prettiness is controversial
this one, everyone would agree she's pretty,
which kinda beats the purpose of wut y're tryin to show
beauty is natural, beauty is in the persona not the picture per se
i mean that's only my opinion
specially since i'm a female i dont like to see women objectified
i like to see the natural beauty which is touching
not a made up model posing for tha cam
then again maybe that's not wut your site is about
if you're purpose is to show that kinda beauty then by all means keep it,
she's very pretty
with this picture you're conforming
with the other one you we're a non-conformist, showing beauty as a virtue not a set of looks
natural, confident, simple... "

A harsh email I had the honor of receiving:

"

To Website Creator:

I believe that you need to look up what beauty really means. I have taken the liberty to browse through your website; and frankly, I don't see any difference between yours and the rest of the pornographic sites. It just basically the same simple-minded portrayal of women as pieces of meat for the voyeuristic MALE eye to behold. And may I point out to you that this eye of the beholder is used to flipping through the glossy pages of Playboy. This so-called beauty you feebly attempt to define is none other than the mainstream model images so often touted in Hollywood genre. If you claim to be a true believer, and an enlightened one, on women's rights and hence a more multidimensional REALISTIC depiction about women's "inner beauty" instead of the "attempt to capture the fleeting beauty of women," I strongly suggest that you include women of ALL races and ethnicities, INCLUDING the "FAT" ones. And one more thing, "women" is spelled "women," not "wemmen."

[i mean] not nudity per se, but all that's appealing to all tatstes with no controversy
