Zero Liquid Discharge

Zero Liquid Discharge is the operation of industrial processes without production of waste water streams. This is achieved through technology which recycles and purifies waste water streams and concentrates the impurities into solids or liquids.
ZLD is important in arid areas as well as areas where environmental legislation and environmental protection is of utmost importance.
