Jesse Aweida founded Aweida Capital Management in 1988, but his business successes date back more than 30 years. In 1969, he started StorageTek, a data storage company in Boulder, Colorado. In just 12 years, he transformed it from $0 revenue into a billion dollar a year business. Aweida was also involved in operating and/or financing several other Boulder County companies, including Aspen Peripherals, Leasetec Corporation, and Avail Systems.
