Mission/Vision:

Promote a unifying spiritual/scientific vision for all Abrahamic religions in the Middle East with the aim of creating a peaceful, progressive, modern and tolerant Middle East. Create a bridge between the Middle East and the West. Offer and promote a tolerant and inclusivist reformist interpretation of Islam and other Abrahamic religions based on the poetry of Rumi and the great Sufi masters. AMALID believes in the inclusive interpretation of religion in a way that accepts the other and defers the differences to God almighty.

Promote the Beauty of Middle-Eastern Culture in the United States of America and Europe and promote the beauty of American and Occidental culture and its virtues in the Middle-East with the hope of building a cultural bridge. AMALID also aims to provide a voice for Freedom and Justice, Tolerance and Peace in the Middle East and to expose corruption and backwardness.

A middle east wrecked by violence, ignorance, geneder based violence, honor killing, violent Jihad, a backward interpretation of Islam that is not acceptable any more. The Middle East used to be a beacon of hope, open mindedness, cultural fusion, prosperity and tolerance. We need to bring that back. I was born in Lebanon 50 years ago and I want to go back to a Lebanon that is modern, secure, peaceful, efficient, modern and progressive. Backward ideologies spread by the likes of ISIS, HAMAS, The Taliban, HEZBOLLAH we need to get rid of those. We need to plant flowers not poisonous thorns. Rami Elias Kremesti
