TRANSFORMING BASE SUBSTANCES INTO GOLD
Our Environmental Philosophy
Our Environmental Philosophy: We believe that we, as human beings, inhabiting planet Earth, are responsible for the well being of the environment that we live in because we are a product of this environment . The air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink are transformed in us through complex mechanisms and become our bodies. The waste that we produce becomes part of the environment and the cycle continues. The clothes that we wear, the products that we purchase, and the cars we drive are made from natural resources. Those resources must be used conscientiously. I personally have a religious view on this: God created man out of Mud, therefore Earth is Sacred…
Therefore it is unimaginable to pollute the environment and abuse its resources because that would be tantamount to suicide.
Nature is gloriously and beautifully made and balanced. We must seek to understand this balance and to maintain it. Our activities on this planet must in no way disrupt the complex eco systems that we live in. On the contrary, we must use our resources and technology to protect the environment and understand how it works.
Earth – Wind – Fire – Water: those are the elements that the ancients used to describe the material world and the energy that drives it. Yogis also believe there is a fifth element, that of Akasha or emptiness that is the matrix in which everything exists. Our modern science has evolved since then and we now know that Earth – Wind and Water are made from the elements in the Periodic Table of the Elements. These elements and energy, fire, are interchangeable through Einstein’s equation E=MC^2. Therefore All is One in the material world.
Inside of us there is a God given Consciousness, a Mind, an animating Soul, that gives us Awareness, Intelligence and Feelings. Jesus the great teacher taught that the greatest Commandment is One: To love the Creator and to Love One Another. Sadhguru the Mystic says that Love is an expression of the feeling of Oneness.
Therefore, let us live in Love because All is One.
Finally I would like end with a quote of Eckhart Tolle, the German spiritual teacher:
“If humans clear inner pollution, then they will also cease to create outer pollution.”
Inner pollution, dark desires, negative ideas and urges, in one word, lack of love are the root cause of pollution… Therefore, let us purify our hearts and minds and live in harmony with nature and one another.
