The Philosopher’s Stone and The Elixir of Life

Ancient natural philosopher’s sought a substance that can turn base metals into gold. This is known as the Philosopher’s Stone.

Some people think that there was a commercial aspect to this, but true philosophers know that the real gold is inside the enlightened human soul. The Elixir of Life on the other hand was a mythological substance that could give its drinker immortality. There is mention in the Bible about the Tree of Life. Perhaps it is the same thing.

Why We Need Alchemy?

There is still suffering today, both in developing countries and even in developed countries. Why?

Because we have not learned how to Love one another. This is the true philosopher’s stone that can turn base substances into Gold. It is Love….

Until we eliminate greed, egoism, racism, hate, fear, corruption we will continue to suffer…. and miss the beauty that surrounds us.
